Homa Bay County Tourism & Cultural Association (HBTCA) registered under the Societies Act (Certificate No. 43591) on 27 November 2013), is a dynamic private-sector organization dedicated to advancing sustainable tourism and preserving authentic intangible cultural heritage in Kenya's scenic Lake Victoria region.

With recognition from the Tourism Regulatory Authority (TRA), HBTCA serves as the official trade association for tourism enterprises in Homa Bay County, supporting compliance with the Tourism (Tourism Enterprises) Regulations, 2025, while fostering professional excellence and fair livelihoods for members.

We unite hotels, tour operators, restaurants, eco-lodges, traditional boat operators, artists, dance troupes, guides, and students to promote high-quality cultural experiences, advocate for industry standards, and drive economic growth through inclusive, heritage-led tourism.

HBTCA empowers stakeholders with networking, training, paid opportunities, and partnerships—positioning Homa Bay as Kenya's premier destination for authentic, sustainable cultural tourism.
